A whole year to learn new things....

I don't believe we ever stop learning. And when it comes to jewelry design I learn something new every time I search the Internet. At the end of 2012 I discovered Craftsy, a site that offers a wide selection of online crafting classes. I signed up for a class on Wire-Wrapped Stones, Crystals & Clusters with instructor Aga Kruk and one of the projects used a beaded circle . She showed us many uses for the wrapped circles. I used some to create this pyrite necklace. Very versatile piece....
P.S. Anyone recognize the model??

Many years ago I discovered that there was a crafty side to me. Since then, there have even been times when I have considered taking up crafting as a full time job. But, I guess that is something I have heard most people who practice some craft say. Someday... one day... Until then... I guess I'll just blog about it.
